Member Briefing Session for Elected Members to update them on the proposals for change and give them the chance to ask questions and provide initial feedback as the public consultation kicks off.
Training for Chairs of Advisory Boards New guidance and training for Children's Centre Advisory Board Chairs to be rolled out.
Public Consultation To take place asking for views on the suggested proposal for restructured Children’s Centre services in Somerset. All of our key partners and providers will be notified of the consultation and provided with details on how to take part.
Contract Discussion Meetings Individual meetings to be held with existing private and voluntary sector providers of Children's Centre services in Somerset, to update them on proposals for change, public consultation and the potential future service structure.
Early Years Provider Conference: Building Blocks for Quality This year's conference for Somerset's Early Years Providers will include an opportunity to understand more about Children's Centre services in Somerset, what they offer and how we might work better together in the future. For more information about this event, please contact Claudine Wall. Attendees will also be given the chance to take part in the public consultation on the potential restructure of Children's Centre services.
