Public Consultation Public consultation will be "live", inviting views from families, staff, partners and providers on a set of proposals for the future of Children’s Centre services in Somerset.
Cabinet Decision Cabinet to agree the final version of the Early Help Strategy, which future Children's Centre services will be based on.
Public Consultation Feedback Results of the public consultation on the proposed restructure of Children's Centre services in Somerset to be publically available.
Scrutiny Meeting Report to be presented on the future shape of Children's Centre services in Somerset. The report will include results of the public consultation, held from Sept - Oct.
Key Member Decision Report to be presented as a Key Member Decision for an agreement on the future shape of Children's Centre services in Somerset. The report will include results of the public consultation, held from Sept - Oct.
SCC HR / Staffing Consultation HR consultation with SCC staff to take place on possible new roles and responsiblities in Children's Centre services. Staff will also be given a further opportunity to apply for voluntary redundancy, if they would wish to do so.
Restructure of services Work to take place on the restructure of Children's Centre services. This will include recruitment to roles in the new staffing structure and possible changes to use of some buildings.
2014/15 Financial Savings The forward year budget will be set, detailing the exact level of savings needed for 2014/15.
